Cranfield Curriculum

Hatching real-life chicks in Year One, pretending to be perilous pirates in Year Two, walking with dinosaurs in Year Three and walking like an Egyptian in Year Four are all features of our Cranfield Creative Curriculum, providing our children with wonderful opportunities to enjoy, achieve and learn.

At Cranfield Church of England Academy, we approach the development of our knowledge and skills in a very exciting way; a ‘creative curriculum’ approach. This is a style of learning and teaching that does not advocate specific subjects, timetabled for different times of the day. Instead, all subjects are taught through one major topic! This approach will still cover all Cranfield Curriculum objectives, but will focus highly on teaching skills, as well as key facts.
