Cranfield Academy achieves Inclusion Quality Mark!

On the 20th and 21st June 2019, Cranfield Academy was visited by an assessor for ‘the Inclusion Quality Mark’. We are delighted with the assessor’s findings on our school!

Ofsted defines an educationally inclusive school as one in which the teaching and learning; achievements, attitudes and well-being of every young person matter.

Inclusion promotes equal opportunities for all pupils, whatever their age, gender, ethnicity, attainment and background. It pays particular attention to the provision made for, and the achievement of, different groups of pupils within a school.

The Inclusion Quality Mark has provided our school with a nationally recognised framework to guide our inclusion journey and enable us to ensure our Christian Vision, enabling all to live life in all its fullness, is successfully delivered!

Following a two day visit which involved tours of both sites, learning walks, meetings with staff, governors, senior leaders, parents and children, an observation of an assembly and more, we are delighted to have been awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark - demonstrating our commitment to inclusion in our school.

Huge thanks to the many adults who have made this report a reality in our school!
