Ofsted's Findings

Following the Academy’s Ofsted Inspection on 11th December 2018, I am delighted to be able to share with you the outcomes of this visit.

Our inspection was a one-day ‘Section 8 Ofsted Inspection’, the objective of which was for the inspector to find out if ‘the school continues to be good’ and ‘safeguarding is effective’. There are four possible outcomes from such an inspection, and I am delighted to announce that our school achieved the highest possible outcome; which is; that the school remains good and there is sufficient evidence of improved performance to suggest that the school may be judged outstanding if it received a Section 5 (two-day) inspection.

I do hope you can find time to absorb the report, which can be viewed by clicking here, and highlights from which can be seen below:

The outcome of the inspection is something for us all to be very proud of and I would like to thank you all for your hard work and commitment to being ‘truly Cranfield’.

Here’s to continuing to do exactly what the Inspector says - ‘what is right for Cranfield!’

With my best wishes as always,

Mr J Piatczanyn
Headteacher
