Learning at Home

At Cranfield Church of England Academy we do not do homework. Instead, we complete “learning at home”.

Through the lens of this Christian vision and ethos, we encourage and believe in the benefit of ‘learning at home’; a good, well-managed learning at home programme helps pupils to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes they will need for successful lifelong learning. Learning at home can also inspire and enable life in all its fullness at home – families are able to come together, giving children the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills across the curriculum. Reading is prioritised.
