Our Senior Leadership Team
The Academy's vision, ethos, aims and whole school objectives are driven forwards by the Senior Leadership Team. All experienced teachers, the Senior Leaders meet regularly to ensure the smooth running and ongoing improvement of the Academy. They are passionate practitioners, united in making Cranfield Church of England Academy the very best place to be. Find out more about each Senior Leader and the work of the team below.
Mrs Lisa Munday - Headteacher
I am very privileged to be the Headteacher of Cranfield Church of England Academy. All the decisions we make will always be about the children - they will always come first. I went into teaching to make a difference and improve the lives of young people. Children get one primary education and it must be the best we can provide.
Mrs Jo Dormer - Deputy Headteacher & SENDCo:
I am delighted to hold the post of Deputy Headteacher at Cranfield. I have a passion for ensuring every child reaches their full potential within a safe, nurturing environment and am therefore proud to be the school's Inclusion Leader, supporting children with Special & Medical Needs, in addition to those who are our most able, or who have English an Additional Language. I am responsible for Safeguarding within the school, alongside Mr McCaffrey and Mrs Munday.
Mr Conor McCaffrey - Deputy Headteacher:
Mrs Lisa Edmond - Senior Leader with responsibility for Reception:
I am delighted to be the Reception leader at Cranfield. Having taught elsewhere for over 12 years I joined Cranfield as a Reception class teacher. I quickly discovered a passion for working with some of the youngest children in our school, so am delighted to be the Reception Leader.
Miss Natasha George - Senior Leader with responsibility for Year One:
Mrs Emma Massey - Senior Leader with responsibility for Year Two:
I joined Cranfield Academy in 2014 and have enjoyed every moment enjoying, achieving and learning with the children. Having taught for 18 years in Wales and England, Cranfield Academy is positively unique – ‘Cranfield is certainly the place to be’! I am passionate about supporting each child to fulfil their potential to become the best they can be, in all that they do. It is such a rewarding role watching the children flourish and learn from the experiences and opportunities that our wonderful school provides daily.
Mrs Jenny Connell - Senior Leader with responsibility for Year Three:
Since joining Cranfield in 2016, it has been a pleasure to teach and encourage the children as they move on in their learning journeys. I find it so refreshing to work within a school where everyone is deeply committed to providing all children with many opportunities to flourish. As a teacher for over 13 years, with teaching experience in both Key Stages One and Two, I am proud to be the Senior Leader for Years 3. I enjoy being a positive influence in the teaching and learning at Cranfield and look forward to working with you!
Miss Stephanie Hubbert - Senior Leader with responsibility for Year Four:
From the day I began my second year of teacher training at Cranfield Academy I knew it was the school I wanted to work at; I feel very privileged to have worked across Key Stage One and Two. I've had the pleasure of training and working with a brilliant and supportive team. I am passionate about trying new ideas and engaging children to ensure they achieve their full potential.
